SEA CAPE has partnered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to host leaders from ASEAN universities, research institutes and businesses to undertake a series of briefings and public seminars as part of the ASEAN@50 Fellowship Programme. The purpose of the programme is to build mutual knowledge and understanding between New Zealand and ASEAN and strengthen New Zealand's relations with the region.
We are pleased to host, in conjunction with New Zealand Institute of International Affairs, a public seminar with three visiting fellows in Wellington.
Thitinan Pongsudhirak (Thailand) will engage in topics relating to ASEAN and East Asia in view of New Zealand’s Asia-Pacific interest
Nguyen Duc Thanh (Vietnam) will engage in topics relating to issues of economic development and international integration.
Aries Ayuson Arugay (Philippines) will engage in topics relating to the evolution of the relationship between ASEAN and regional civil societies
