2021 was the third year that the Tertiary Market Immersion Programme has been delivered, but the first time it has been delivered domestically, due to the impact of Covid-19 on international travel. As a result, a specific country (Singapore) and specific industry (Food and Nutrition) was selected to focus the programme design and student outputs.

The objective of TMIP was to provide an opportunity for New Zealand tertiary students to broaden their understanding of and engagement with Singapore by learning about the business environments, and opportunities and challenges for NZ’s food and nutrition sector in Singapore. The students’ learning was additionally supported by academic mentors and industry advisors, who oversaw the business projects. The students worked together remotely in groups of three-four, to prepare a business project report of up to 7,500 words that could be distributed to NZ businesses and other SEA CAPE stakeholders.

These reports are now available in print, please email seacape@vuw.ac.nz if you would like us to send you a physical pack.

Alternatively, these projects are available to view and download below.
